  • 3. Usage scoup
    • A. Prevent scale and corrosion, remove sludge, improve pH in boiler
  • 4. Dosing method
    • A. Best method is continuous putting by using Chemical Dosing System(Metering equipment), it is possible put in cascade tank at a time
    • B. Input spot
      • 1) Cascade Tank, Feed Pump entrance, Feed Pump exit
      • 2) During bolier operation, put in Feed Pump entrance/exit,Cascade Tank for 24 hours continuously through metering equipment
      • 3) As high alkalinity Chemical(1% solution pH13-14), if put a large amount at once, occur alkali corrosion on feed water system
      • 4) If boiler watering antiscales injection apparatus installed, use it, if not, install gravitationally injected equipment make chemical(20ltr) mix with water able to put in 1~2days on upper of Cascade Tank. Controlin put by installing valve in the middle
      • 5) If this method is difficult, put 100cc into Cascade Tank, control variation of input as test result

  • 5. Initial dose
    • 1) Untreated boiler system, put BW TREAT 1.5-2.0Ltr boiler water per ton and keep P-Alkalinity about100-200ppm
    • 2) After 24 hours, measure P-Alkalinity and control input in case of need, measuring Chloride Content, if Chloride quantity is excessive, do Surface Blow Down and Bottom Blow Down
  • 6. Daily dose
    • Remeasure P-Alkalinity and if need be, increase BW TREAT input and put at least 0.2Ltr in one day to keep proper figures of pH or P-Alkalinity

    • A. Hardness Control is use to keep free phosphate level inside of boiler. This level is decided by boiler pressure,initial input is decided by water quality

    • IN-SITU CIRCULATION METHODEngines are designed to cleanable air cooler in diriving. Circulate using installed clean equipment according manufacture’s instruction
    • IMMERSION METHODDip air cooler in contatiner filled with ACC and water(10-30%), reduce clean time by heating upto about 40-50℃, soak 1-6 hours according polluted level. Cleaning effect will improve if stir with steam or pressure air. Wash with fresh water after cleaning, install to engine after dry. This method is advisable on machine parts sticking carbon precipitate stubbornly
    • IN-SITU IMMERSION METHODFor this washing, stop engine and check safety. Fill overflowing the clutch with ACC and water(10-30%) mixture according polluted level and close the exit of cooler. For this process, settle 1-6 hours and emit on slop tank. Cleaning effect will improve if stir the steam or pressure air. Wash with fresh water after cleaning. Remove the closed exit and close the drain
    • ON-LINE NETHODUse ACC by spraying on air cooler front trunk using chemicals dispenser provided by engine manufacturer or NEW SHIN YOUNG. ACC is mixed with water at 25% solution(water 3 liter per ACC 1liter ratio), spray using compressed air in air trunk through spray nozzle. Wash clearly by spraying fresh water after 10-20 minutes. Control chemical input and number according cooler size or condition, the dose is the same as in below table.

    • A. In big system or component, most effective scale removal is rotation method, and on small component, use dipping method using water tank
    • B. If equipment is polluted by grease, sludge, carbonaceous, oil, get the best effect when clean first with required cleaner such as neutrality product -TCS-3PLUS, ALOHA SWING PLUS-, solvent product -TCS-3T
    • C. Mixture 10-30% water solution with fresh water according scale degree
    • D. This product is always using in plastic container, add solution on water, do not contrary to this
    • E. After using Descaling Liquid, it is essential to wash with 0.5% Alkalinity product Alkalinity Control water solutionall metal surface at least once all around. Circulate this water solution 2-4 hours to get proper PH figure. PHfigure be around neutrality(PH7), neutralize any acid residue and passivated metal
    • F. Descaling Liquid do not use in aluminium, zinc, tin, tinplate sheet
  • 5. Forced circulation way
    • A. Make forced circulation circuit (pipe line)
    • B. Remove zinc, aluminium, plated material
    • C. Wash sludge, mud with water
    • D. Make 10-20% diluted solution according to scale type and pollution level
    • E. Install Air Vent on the highest place of circulation loop, select sample place to open easily, it is convenience that progress working with check progress of scale remove
    • F. Vary with chemical concentration and scale level, but circulate 1-4 hours in case of oxidized steel, 24-36 hours in case of Hardness Scale. Clean time is shorten if heated, but heat temperature must not over 40℃
    • G. When chemical concentration is declined, put additional. Add below 1/2 of initial putting quantity considering uniformity of chemical concentration
    • H. If scale is removed, bubble caused by circulation solution is disappear (check sample)
    • I. Circulate 1 hour more and wash with water after draining solution
    • J. Neutralize 2-6 hours with 0.5-2% alkali product, Alkalinity Control

    * TCS-3, ALOHA, ALOHA SWING, TCS-5 product is possible when Alkalinity Control is not in vessel
